Funeral 

For those of you who couldn't be there – it was a VERY special send off for Dave.  

A huge crowd consisting of  family, friends, many musicians and former students gathered at Springwood Avenue Cemetery, Liverpool.  The ceremony was quite short, a Jewish burial and many people chose to meet immediately after to chat and reminisce. 

It was quite amazing to see not only the sheer amount of people but the variety of people.  All religions, all colours and all ages.  What a superb tribute to the man.

House band drummer, Dave loved the sessions at Metro.  

He loved the meal before the band's first set, the jam afterwards and the chance to meet and chat with friends, old and new.  And as we drank pints, Dave drank gallons - of tea. 

The first of those sessions was Monday, September 1, 2003.
